Attorney Mariela Murillo 

Mariela Murillo is an attorney practicing in the field of Immigration Law.  She is licensed by the State of California and can practice immigration in all fifty states.

 

She has over 15 years of serving the public at various government levels, local, state, and federal, including as an Immigration Officer with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services unit of the Department of Homeland Security. 

​

As an attorney, she has worked for the State of California, protecting the unique rights afforded by California law of the agricultural workers in the state, and for nonprofits in Orange County and Ventura County, assisting clients with various immigration matters. She takes pride in her community and believes in empowering her clients by providing them valuable and pertinent information and giving approachable guidance clients can confidently follow.

 

Mariela is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), Ventura County Bar Association (VCBA), and Orange County Bar Association (OCBA). She is currently serving as the 2022 Secretary/Treasurer for the OCBA Immigration Law Section.  

​

She received the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services from the State Bar of California on April 2016 for her volunteer work assisting the underrepresented community of Orange County.  

​

She is fluent in Spanish and can speak conversational Brazilian Portuguese. 

​

On her free time, Mariela enjoys an outdoor run, exploring various coffee shops, and spending time at Disneyland with her son and her husband.
